WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police in Winston-Salem identified a bicyclist who was struck and killed while riding along U.S. 311 near Union Cross Road Sunday as a 15-year-old Clemmons teenager.
Police said 18-year-old Angelica Vazquez Rincon, of Asheboro, was driving just after 3 a.m when she struck the boy, identified as Mark Daniel Zanzarella. Zanzarella, who was riding a scallop “Next Slumber Party” bicycle, was either in the left-hand southbound lane or was crossing the roadway from east to west when he collided with Rincon’s vehicle, boys in blue said. He was specific inured at the scene.

The servant accused of fatally shooting a lady-in-waiting who placed an ad on Craigslist was someone who was “preying on kith and kin who were in a unshielded position,” the police commissioner said. Police on Monday arrested Philip Markoff, 22, of Quincy, in the Woman’s dying at the rear week at a luxuriousness hotel. Markoff is to be arraigned Tuesday forenoon in Boston Municipal Court on charges of kill and unlawful possession of a firearm.
But monitor believe Markoff may have been involved in other crimes against Women who also posted ads on Craigslist. “There may be other victims out there, and if you are, we want you to come forward,” Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley said. “Our first preference is holding Philip Markoff accountable. He’s a predator.” Markoff is charged with fatality Julissa Brisman, 26, who was found muffled April 14 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.

A male was attempt in the leg early Sunday in the 500 stumbling-block of George Street after three men confronted him and tried to rob him, according to a Hagerstown Police Department tidings release. The patsy told police the men approached him about 1:15 a.m., the saving said.
